Teenage Substance Abuse Is A Cry For Help That Must Be Answered

"Our greatest glory is not in never failing,
but in rising up every time we fail."

Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882)

Teenage Substance Abuse is a major problem that is growing worse every day.

One of the most important and far reaching issues facing your teenager concerns the use of drugs.

Drugs include tobacco, alcohol and marijuana among many others.

The choice to use drugs or not to use drugs is a huge decision in your teenager's life and social development.

This one decision will affect your child's life now and far into the future.

If your teenager has made some wrong choices concerning drug and alcohol use, and you want some help in bringing them back to where they belong, we recommend this Total Transformation Parenting Program that can help you help your teenager, before it’s too late.

Teenage Pregnancy, Negative Teenage Behavior Problems, and many other Teen Issues can and do stem from this one vitally important decision.

This is one of those truly Make or Break decisions that comes along into every person's life only occasionally, and yet will likely affect them for the remainder of their life.

Sharing with your Teenager, and with your whole family from a very early age, your Family Rules and Expectations regarding these matters is vitally important to helping your Teenager and other family members to make the right choices when a choice has to be made.

Of course Teenage Peer Pressure often plays a role in Teenage Substance Abuse.

A wise parent will do all in their power to prepare their children for these challenges when they come, as they always seem to do in one form or the other.

Though tobacco and alcohol will eventually become legal to your child when they are of legal age, they are for the moment neither legal nor appropriate for your teenager and their hope for a happy future.

Both alcohol and nicotine are highly addictive and, if abused, can and do lead to serious health effects. Use of these products as a teenager constitutes Teenage Substance Abuse.

Please keep in mind that just because an activity is legal does not make it a wise activity to engage in.

For example: How many adults even now wish they could stop smoking?

It goes without saying that marijuana and other illicit drugs are not only illegal and unwise but are the quickest road from 'Great Potential' to 'No Future' known to the modern world.

Your Story Can Help Other Parents Looking For Answers?

Share it with us and help other parents today.

If you have never known a good friend or family member who has had a drug addiction, then you cannot know the hell and anguish that comes from it.

Many people claim that marijuana is a 'harmless drug', but nothing can be further from the truth.

Marijuana is a 'gateway' drug that leads to all the others.

Drug addiction takes a person away from themselves. Once 'hooked' on drugs, the person who once was will never fully be again, and much of their potential is taken from them forever.

Teenage Substance Abuse takes a person away from themselves and always seeks to rob them of their future.

It is true that some people do recover from drug addiction. Once recovered, they are unfortunately seldom the same again. Drug addiction takes something essential from a person that is so very difficult to fully recover.

And now for the kicker: Tobacco and alcohol are precursor drugs to marijuana, and as was stated before, marijuana is The Precursor Drug for all of the others.

If these words seem harsh, I agree.

The realities of drug abuse are even harsher.
