My Son Boon

A Picture Of My Son 'Boon'

A Picture Of My Son 'Boon'

Everyone in this world is fond of babies, and every newly married couple likes to have their own babies soon after their wedding.

Likewise I was also very much interested in seeing my sweet baby.

It was a Friday evening and was raining heavily when my wife was admitted to the Presbyterian Hospital. I was very much tensed what would happen, and I was praying to all the angels and gods that my wife and baby should be fine and nothing should happen to them.

At 6.15 pm the nurse came out of the room and said you are the father of a boy. At that moment I was the happiest man in the world, because I wished I should have a male child. At the same time my wife was a little depressed as she expected a girl.

Then after three days of rest my wife came and my lovely son came back home. Then me and my darling Angelina were discussing the names for our child. We were searching for names in the net, and my Aunt bought a book full of names written for the newly born babies.

Then my wife called her friends for suggestion of names. At that moment during our conservation, Angelina said this small guy is our boon in life and we should sacrifice all our joy and wealth to our son.

Those words from my dear wife made me realize why I should keep “Boon” as my son’s name. I told her this child is God’s gift to us and why can’t we keep “Boon“ as his name.

Hearing my wife said it’s a nice name, we finally named our first son “BOON”.

Then I and my wife went near our child as he was lying in the bed. I went close to him and slowly called him Boon. At once he reacted to my words with a gesture in his soft and smooth chin and smiled at us.

Another reason why I kept his name as Boon is so that we would realize the worth of is name and he would grow up to be a BOON for the nation he is in and would bring pride and glory for his country.

I always believe that once he is grown up he should serve the nation and I wish my dear Boon to be successful in his life.
