Grandmother Wisdom Are
45 Fun Suggestions For
A Happy And Meaningful Life

“What one has, one ought to use:
and whatever he does,
he should do with all his might."

Cicero (B.C. 106-43)

Grandmother Wisdom is a Mother’s wisdom getting better, clearer, and more useful over time.

Grandmother Wisdom is the concentrated wisdom gained over a lifetime and shared by a 90 year old Grandmother who reveals her suggestions for a happy, no-regrets life.

She could be your Grandmother or mine. For today, let us call her our universal Grandmother; everyone’s Grandmother. What she brings is her Grandmother Wisdom about how to live a fulfilled and happy life.

In a section dedicated to Parenting Fun, it seems appropriate to illustrate her Grandmother Wisdom which will help us parents to have more guideposts on our own quest for happiness and contentment.

The reasoning is quite simple: A happy parent is a better parent, and happy parents are much more likely to raise happy children, and that in a nutshell is the purpose, mission, and Vision of this Parenting Action Guide Website.

Her actual name is Regina Brett, 90 years old, from Cleveland, Ohio, USA. You may have seen her Grandmother Wisdom on the internet before, but for those of you who haven’t, it is well worth reading about it here.

Like Good Parenting Skills, her suggestions ring true when you read them. Yet unlike Surrogate Parenting, nobody else can do these items for you.

It is up to us as people and as parents to accept this Parenting Advice, this life advice, and use it to find more of the joy and happiness of life for ourselves. We will then have more joy and happiness to share with our children, our families, and all we come in contact with.

That is how we learn to discover the Parenting Magic, the Parenting Fun, and the wonder of life that is all around us, just waiting for us to discover it for ourselves and to share it with our children.

I thank Regina Brett for her 45 suggestions that make up her Grandmother Wisdom, and you will be thankful also once you have read it for yourself.

There is a lot more parenting wisdom to share. Here is another Grandmother Wisdom thought: If you can instill just a few truths of life into your children’s minds and hearts, can help them learn and live principles of joy and decency on a daily basis, then you have been the parent who helps their children know the beauty and potential of a life well-lived at any time, for any reason, over and over again.
